Ulefone bets on Kickstarter for Armor 15

Ulefone is perhaps best known for its extremely durable mobile phones. Now the company is at it with the Ulefone Armor 15. This time, however, it chooses slightly different paths and ideas, including by holding what it calls a warm-up on Kickstarter together with various events.

Even the mobile phone comes up with a new invention in the form of a built-in charging case for headphones – of course including headphones. This means, among other things, that it should be easier to always have the headphones with you without a loose charging case, and that the mobile phone’s battery is used to charge the headphones. Then it should be added that the Ulefone Armor 15 will have a battery with a capacity of 6600 mAh.

Looking at the specifications, the Armor 15 will have a 5.45-inch screen, and under the hood, there will be a Mediatek Helio G35 system chip along with 6 gigabytes of RAM and 128 gigabytes of storage. It will ship with Android 12. On the back are dual cameras – a 12MP primary and a 13MP wide-angle – while the front camera is 16MP. It must also be possible to use the cameras underwater.

As usual, the Armor 15 is a durable mobile and offers an IP68/IP69K rating as well as the American MIL-STD-810G.

Other functions include Bluetooth 5.0, support for NFC and positioning via GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo, QZSS and Digital Compass.

The warm-up will last until August 7 and then start the campaign on August 8.
