ULAPS warehouse managers are trained with SISCONI

Warehouse managers from the local primary health care units (Ulaps) of the Social Security Fund in West Panama, were trained on the Inventory Control System (SISCONI) which is in charge of warehouse management from the order until the departure of the merchandise in the management of the warehouse.

Roberto Bethancourt, implementer and trainer of the inventory control and analysis system of the National Logistics Executive Directorate, pointed out that SISCONI is launched for the participation of the warehouse and some technicians or specialties who directly place orders to the distribution center.

The warehouse participants are the ones that are going to bring this system to 100% within their executing unit, highlighted Bethancourt, speaking of medicines, laboratory, surgical medicine, radiology and dentistry, being the supplies for human health the ones that will participate in this implementation of the inventory control system.

This training, too, was dictated by Lcda. Fanny Cedeño, in charge of the project; Nery Coronado, assistant, and Carlos Gaytán, warehouse coordinator.
