Ukrainians should not refuse vaccination, hoping for the future delivery of the Pfizer vaccine, since there will be no choice of drug before vaccination.
About this in an interview with the publication NV said the chief state sanitary doctor Victor Lyashko, answering the question of whether the desire of Ukrainians to wait for another vaccine is justified.
“There is no need to wait for anything, since there is no right to choose. This is a worldwide practice,” Lyashko said.
According to him, when a particular vaccine is delivered to Ukraine, managers and experts will determine how to use the drug as efficiently as possible.
He also recalled the specific storage of the Pfizer vaccine, which has a storage temperature of -70 degrees Celsius.
“After the drug goes beyond this temperature, it must be used within five days,” added Lyashko.
We will remind, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmyhal said that soon to our country should begin to supply Pfizer coronavirus vaccines… It will cost within 300-1200 hryvnia.
In addition, Ukraine will receive one more a large batch of Pfizer vaccine during 2021. Its amount will be enough for all vulnerable categories of Ukrainians.
