According to the premier, after the expansion of the program “Epidtrimka” people with disabilities of groups I and II will also be able to buy medicines with the money received for vaccination.

Ukrainians will soon be able to spend 1,000 hryvnias for vaccination to pay for utilities. About this during a conference call at the Office of the President declared Prime Minister Denys Shmygal.

According to him, this week the Cabinet of Ministers will expand the presidential program “Yepidtrymka”, according to which citizens vaccinated against coronavirus can receive 1,000 hryvnias.

After the decision of the government buy medicines for the paid 1000 hryvnia for vaccination, in addition to people over 60 years old, persons with disabilities of groups I and II will also be able to. In addition, as Denys Shmygal said during a conference call, in the near future, vaccinated citizens will be able to spend “covid” payments on utility bills.

To date, according to the government, 7.8 billion hryvnias have been transferred to Ukrainians within the framework of the “Yepidtrimka” program. During the meeting, Denys Shmygal also instructed the Ministry of Finance to develop a forecast of payments to citizens who were vaccinated with a booster dose (additional 500 hryvnia – ed.).

Recall that earlier the Ministry of Finance called terms of validity of the program “єPіdtrimka”, according to which Ukrainians can receive 1000 hryvnias for vaccination. The President’s initiative, which is designed for several stages, will run until December 18, 2022.

According to the program “Yepidtrimka” children aged 14 to 18 can also receive 1,000 hryvnia for vaccination. As Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal previously reported, the expansion of the initiative is scheduled for February 7, after which vaccinated teenagers will be able to spend “covid” payments not only on cinemas or gyms, but also on educational courses and office supplies.

In January, the Office of the President reported that the program “ePidtrimka” can be extended to children aged 12 to 14who have also been vaccinated against the coronavirus.
