Ukrainians will automatically recalculate pensions in a few days: how much money will they give

In Ukraine, from April 1, an automatic recalculation of pensions will be carried out for those who continued to work on a well-deserved rest. The amount of the increase depends on the estimated payment. The larger it is, the higher the increase will be.

This is stated in the law on “Compulsory State Pension Insurance”. Those Ukrainians who additionally earned less than 24 months of work experience will not receive an increase.

Who will the pensions be recalculated:

  • working pensioners who by March 1 received at least 24 months of additional work experience. For this you need to work for at least two years after the appointment of a pension;

  • the approximate amount of the increase may be about 2% of the estimated size of the pension. For example, at 6000 it is 120 UAH;

  • if the salary of retired workers has decreased, he has the right to take into account the average earnings for the previous period;

  • increased pensions will be paid from April 1;

  • you do not need to apply for recalculation, it happens automatically.

“The bodies of the Pension Fund annually from April 1, without an additional appeal of the person, recalculate the pension to those persons who, as of March 1 of the year in which the recalculation is carried out, received the right to recalculate on the most favorable terms. The procedure for such recalculation of the pension is established by the Board of the Pension Fund in agreement with the central body of executive power, “the law says.
