Ukrainians in the first quarter earned UAH 983.6 billion

In the first quarter, Ukrainian citizens spent more money than they earned. The main sources of income were salaries and social assistance from the state.

In the first quarter of 2021, Ukrainians earned UAH 983.6 billion, and spent UAH 83.4 billion more over the same period – 1 trillion. UAH 67 billion This was announced on Monday, July 5, by the State Statistics Service.

It is noted that the main sources of income for Ukrainians in the first quarter of this year were wages – UAH 475.7 billion (48.4%) and social assistance from the state – UAH 340.6 billion (34.6%).

Disposable income for the first quarter of 2021 per person amounted to UAH 18,010.

Ukrainians spent almost all the money they earned on the purchase of various goods and services – UAH 983.6 billion (96.5%).

It was previously reported that salaries increased by a third in a year… At the same time, real wages (adjusted for inflation) increased by 16.8%.
