Lauwersoog – Ukrainian refugees are terrified in their temporary homes in Lauwersoog because it is next to the defense training ground. The sounds of war make them feel like they are in their homeland Ukraine. Every day they are startled by the Dutch soldiers who are training at the Marnewaard shooting range and training area.
