“At checkpoints, an increase in passenger traffic is recorded. Exit of citizens from Ukraine prevails over entry, especially on the border with EU countries,” the message says.
The border guards noted that the increase in passenger traffic is mainly due to the increase in the number of Ukrainians traveling abroad after the winter holidays. Queues appeared at some checkpoints, in particular, “Krakovets”, “Shegini” and “Grushev”. On average, they have up to 150 vehicles.
At the same time, there are no queues at the checkpoints “Yagodin”, “Ustilug”, “Ugrinov” and “Smilnitsa”.
The department also recalled that when crossing the border, in addition to checking documents, the employees of the State Tax Service also carry out control measures related to preventing the spread of coronavirus infection. In particular, for those who have not done a PCR test for COVID 24 hours before entering Poland, mobile laboratories work near the checkpoints “Krakovets”, “Shegini”, “Rava-Ruska” and “Yagodin”.
The State Border Service has published links to services where you can track the situation at the checkpoints of the Western Regional Administration. Information on them is updated every three hours:
