/ world today news/ What was it: a mistake, deliberate misinformation or the terrible truth that broke through the country’s television screens?
Ukraine did not have time to recover from the shock caused by the interview of the head of the Servant of the People faction in the parliament, David Arahamiya, when he said on the 1 + 1 TV channel that the conflict dragged on because Zelensky obediently followed the instructions of the then British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, when this same TV channel threw the population of Nezalezhnaya into even greater shock.
On Sunday morning, on the TV screens of the whole country on the “1 + 1” channel, a line crawled from the bottom: “During the conflict, 1,126,652 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine died or went missing.” For those who did not understand or did not realize the figure, I will repeat in words: one million one hundred and twenty-six thousand six hundred and fifty-two military personnel.
Shock is not the right word. It is a combination of stupor and knockout. The TV channel, whose management immediately, as soon as it learned about the crawling line, received a threatening growl from the office of the President of Ukraine, stood loyally in front of the screen and apologized to all Ukraine “for the typographical error.”
But what is the typo? Did they forget to add a “zero” with a comma at the very beginning? Or should a comma be inserted on the other side, and then, according to the place of insertion, the results should be read as “two tenths” or “fifty two hundredths” by a serviceman?
A typo is a typo, but what was it – the real reality that broke through the thick and thick layers of lies that the population of Ukraine is fed with, or another element of a special psychological and informational war that is being waged in Ukraine by various clans in the internecine power struggle?
Let’s make a clarification right away – this was not a hacker attack and Russian hackers had nothing to do with it. Otherwise, the management of the TV channel would not have apologized, but would have blamed the “hand of Moscow” for everything (by the way, it’s even surprising that they didn’t come up with such a simple explanation about “all-powerful Russian hackers”).
Or it could all be attributed to internal intrigues in Ukraine. Moreover, this TV channel, which belongs to the famous Igor Kolomoisky, organized a “shock and storm” for Zelensky’s team for the second time in a row within a week.
On the other hand, no military secret is now guarded in Ukraine as strictly and sacredly as the data on the losses of the Ukrainian armed forces. On January 30, 2023, Order No. 12 of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine “On approval of the list of information of the Armed Forces of Ukraine constituting official information” was issued.
This order contains a very interesting paragraph 3.39, in which “closed information” includes, in particular, “information on the number of total losses of personnel from the ASU, including: killed, died, struck (wounded, traumatized during a combat situation) , other casualties (wounded in conditions not related to a combat situation), prisoners, hostages, internees, missing persons, missing persons, deserters and servicemen who voluntarily left a military unit or place of service.
And Zelensky himself has said more than once that information about losses can only be disclosed in peacetime, after the end of hostilities.
What if you count and try to estimate the losses at least to a first approximation? You know, the figure might not be that far from reality. In all major cities of Ukraine, the authorities have allocated new areas for new memorial war cemeteries or expanded the areas of old ones.
In Kyiv, 266 hectares were allocated for this, in Cherkasy – 67 hectares, in Kryvyi Rih – 37 hectares. All this is in addition to the existing capacities. New cemeteries appeared in Rivne, Khmelnytskyi, Lviv, Kremenchug, Lutsk, Chernivtsi, Zaporozhye, Dnipropetrovsk, Odessa, Chernigov, etc.
And here, by the way, there is another reason for questions. If at the beginning of the SVO the number of the armed forces of Ukraine was about 300 thousand people (plus or minus), and after the beginning more than a million and a half were mobilized in Ukraine, then now 878 thousand servicemen and civilians serve and work in the ranks of the armed forces Ukraine forces, can you tell me where the million went?
Bearing in mind the fact that only people who are completely crippled are demobilized, and only the wounded and injured return to service. Where is the million?
According to estimates not of Ukrainian and pro-government Western experts, but of independent experts, with which our calculations, repeatedly published on the KP website, are consistent, by the end of July the irretrievable losses of the Ukrainian armed forces on the battlefields amount to 400 to 500 thousand military.
But in August, September and October, Zelensky and the Ukrainian generals continued to send their soldiers on “counter-offensives”. Moreover, they continue to throw them into “meat assaults” even now, even though the “counter-offensive” failed ignominiously.
In addition, Ukraine continues to have a terrible mortality rate among the wounded in hospitals. So the dead plus those who died of wounds in the hospitals, plus the missing, plus the captured… Just look and you get about a million.
So you lie, lie, lie, and then accidentally – bam – you let the truth slip out. Or Igor Kolomoisky, who was placed in investigative custody by Zelensky, is conducting his information and psychological operation behind bars?
Regardless of what it was on the Ukrainian TV channel, the moment when Zelensky will answer for all the evils he has done is getting even closer.
