Ukrainian troops fire Tochka U missile at Kramatorsk . train station

MOSCOW – The Tochka U ballistic missile which reportedly killed dozens of civilians in the Ukrainian city of Kramatorsk, on Friday (8/4/2022), came from a city under the control of Ukrainian troops.

The claim was disclosed by the Russian Ministry of Defense, reported by RT.com.

“The missile came from the city of Dobropole, about 45 km southwest of the city,” a Moscow statement said.

The deadly attack hit the main train station in Kramatorsk as an estimated 4,000 people were waiting for evacuation trains there.

The latest casualty count by the city government says 39 people died in the incident and 87 people were injured.

Kramatorsk is a city in the northern part of the Donetsk region, and is claimed by the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) as part of its territory.
