Ukrainian tour operator Join UP! In the Baltics, which started working in the Riga office in mid-April, in the first three months of its operation, it has already served 12 thousand tourists in the Baltic market and, taking care of the autumn tourist season, is opening new routes to the island of Zanzibar in Tanzania, the islands of Zakynthos and Crete in Greece, as well as Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh resorts in Egypt. Taking into account the popularity of the mentioned resorts among the Baltic residents, it is planned that Zanzibar will be visited by 9,000, the Greek islands by 9,500, and the Egyptian resorts by 54,000 by the end of the year.

“Since April 14, when we started our work in the Baltic market, we have already served 12 thousand customers. Starting a business in the Baltics has given Join UP! the opportunity to save jobs for Ukrainians and support the national economy, because Ukraine is currently fighting for the future of all of us. So far, we have not discovered any special differences between tourists from Ukraine and the Baltic States. People are interested in quality holidays in a beautiful and orderly environment. The most obvious trend in the travel market right now is that early booking is back, with people booking travel in advance almost as much as before the pandemic. As an interesting national ‘raisin’, I would like to note that as the New Year approached, the number of reservations increased threefold and the trips offered by the company were sold out a week before the holiday. The most popular destination this summer is Turkey, thanks to its all-inclusive dining system. 99% of all tourists arriving in the Antalya region arrive with this comprehensive service. This means that you don’t have to cook or take care of the house during your vacation, but you can enjoy your rest,” says Join Up! Head of Baltic Gedimins Keris (Gediminas Kerys).

The destinations of the autumn season have been selected by analyzing both the climatic conditions of the destinations and the tourist habits of the region. In Greece, with the beginning of September, the islands of Crete and Zakynthos have been chosen as the company’s new destinations. During the past 10 years, Crete has been the second most popular summer destination in the Baltic States. According to the company’s estimates, by the end of the year, 1,500 tickets will be sold to these resorts in Riga, and 4,000 in Tallinn and Vilnius each. Zanzibar, a semi-autonomous island archipelago in the Indian Ocean, resorts for tourists from Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia Join UP! Starting from the end of October, Baltic has booked places for nine thousand vacationers. In addition, it will be possible to reach Zanzibar for the first time from the capitals of the Baltic states with a direct flight. On the other hand, in the Egyptian resorts of Hurghada, Marsa Alam and Sharm El Sheikh, the tour operator has reserved places for 54 thousand vacationers since September. Join UP! Baltic forecasts show that using the services of the new Ukrainian capital operator, 14 thousand tourists from Latvia, 18 thousand from Estonia and 22 thousand from Lithuania could visit Egyptian resorts in the autumn season. Historically Join UP! brings the largest number of tourists in the world to Egypt.

Join UP! It is a Ukrainian capital family company, the real beneficiaries of which are Yuriy and Oleksandr Albas.
