Ukrainian Soldiers Launch Attack in Kherson Region, Russian Command at Standstill

Ukrainian soldiers launched an attack from Krinki, located 30 kilometers northeast of Kherson and two kilometers from the Dnieper River, and entered a forest area near the village.

Ukrainian soldiers continue to hold positions in Krinko near the Antonivka bridge.

Ukrainian military-political commentator Oleksandr Kovalenko stated on Tuesday that the establishment of bridgeheads by the Ukrainian army in the Kherson region on the eastern bank of the Dnieper has put the Russian command at a standstill.

In addition, not everything is going smoothly for the Russians in the Avdijivka district, where they have transferred large forces, the commentator added.

According to ISW, both Ukrainian and Russian forces are continuing offensive operations in eastern and southern Ukraine despite rainy weather and snowfall.

Rainy weather will hardly stop the attacks of Ukraine and Russia, but with the onset of frost, more intense fighting will resume, ISW predicts.

The Russians have conducted offensive operations in western Zaporizhia Oblast, but have not made any confirmed gains, according to the ISW.
