In the fighting near Bakhmut, Russian forces used Lancet ammunition, which is a kamikaze drone.
As a result of a successful attack with this weapon, the turret of an American M109 Paladin self-propelled howitzer was effectively knocked out.
During the attack, however, the crew commander, who was on the roof of the self-propelled gun, flew off the ground, foreign agencies write.
Judging by the videos, the Ukrainian commander almost fell under the chains of a combat machine, foreign agencies write.
On the presented video recordings, it can be seen that the ACS from the VSU caught fire after the powerful explosion, but continued to move by momentum. During the attack with the Lancet ammunition, the crew commander was on the turret and the force of the explosion simply threw him almost under the chains.
We remind you that the Lancet ammunition is a kamikaze drone that successfully destroys NATO artillery supplied to the armed forces of Ukraine. About 50 percent of towed and self-propelled howitzers are destroyed by these drones, which powerfully attack targets and can stay in the air for some time, waiting for a suitable target to attack.
The Lancet UAV is a munition, i.e. a kamikaze drone that is designed to destroy land and sea targets.
