The artist recorded a touching composition with a little volunteer from the Lviv region.
Ukrainian singer Mikhail Khoma (LEARNED) gave a special birthday gift to Anna-Maria, a 10-year-old blind volunteer from the Lviv region.
The artist gave the girl a special song “Likhtariki” and sang along with her.
Anna-Maria is a very gifted girl who, by singing in churches and on the streets, raised more than two million hryvnia for the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces during the full-scale invasion. She knows a lot about the needs of the army, because her brother is among the defenders.
Mikhail Khoma said that the military from the front line sent him a link to a news story where Anna-Maria talked about her dream – to meet him. It was on the girl’s birthday that Mikhail Khoma decided to make a special surprise for her: not only to meet her, but even more – to give her a song.
When they met at the recording studio, Anna-Maria asked Mikhail Khoma to sing with her, and he, of course, could not refuse.
Today Mikhail Khoma (DZIDZIO) and Anna-Maria are presenting a lyric video for the song “Likhtariki”.
The singer separately thanked Anatoly Bezukha and the students of the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts: director Victoria Khoma, cameramen Konstantin Gaiduchik and Mikhail Kharpak.
“Likhtariki” is a melody that is born from a pure heart and carries a unique aura of goodness. “She turns on the light for us to see people among people” – these lines become not only the leitmotif of the song, but also an important philosophy calling all Ukrainians to unity and understanding. This is a confession about sincerity, kindness and boundless love for Ukraine.
