The press secretary of the Moldovan defense department recalled that Ukrainian sappers were trained in Moldova as part of humanitarian assistance to Ukrainian specialists to gain skills in clearing the territory from explosive objects after Russia’s war against Ukraine.
The training of Ukrainians in Moldova lasted from June 6 to June 30, 2023, they were conducted by specialists from the Moldovan engineer battalion “Codru”.
