Ukrainian Red Cross Society Resumes Winter Cash Assistance Registration for Internally Displaced Persons in Ternopil Region

So, from January 9 to January 26, 2024, the Ternopil regional organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society resumes registration for winter cash assistance for certain categories of internally displaced persons in the Ternopil region.

We previously told you that residents of one of the regions are being paid one-time financial assistance.

It is important that those citizens who have not registered for winter assistance from the Red Cross over the past 3 months will be able to register.

Who can apply for cash assistance?

Assistance will be provided to the following categories:

1) Persons with disabilities of groups 1, 2, 3 who acquired disability as a result of the war, starting in 2014.

2) Internally displaced persons are large families (three or more children).

3) Internally displaced persons are persons with disabilities of groups 1 and 2.

4) Internally displaced persons are families with children with disabilities under 18 years of age.

5) Internally displaced persons – single elderly people 65+.

6) Internally displaced persons are single mothers/parents.

7) Internally displaced elderly people 70+.

On January 9-15, trips to the communities of the Chertkivsky district are planned:

01/09/24 Borshchev – 10:00-16:00

01/10/24 Tolstoy village – 10:00-16:00

11.01.24 Buchach – 10:00-16:00

12.01.24 p. Goose – 10:00-16:00

01/15/23 Chertkiv – 10:00-16:00

It is important to note that the number of places is limited.

To register you must have with you:

  • Passport (required);
  • Identification code (required if available);
  • Extract of place of residence (for persons with an ID passport);
  • Birth certificates of children (for large families, children with disabilities, single parents).
  • IDP certificate (required) – with registration in the Ternopil region;
  • For persons with disabilities – a document confirming the presence of disability (MSEC certificate or pension certificate);
  • For single elderly people 65+ – a document confirming sole residence (a certificate from the community or another document confirming loneliness);
  • For single mothers/parents – a document confirming this category;
  • Bank details must be printed.

The fund also noted that if you do not have time to register for help during visits to the community, you will have such an opportunity in Ternopil from January 22 to 26.
