The news that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is coming to Bulgaria created tension in the parliament. There was no official information about the visit until the last moment, and the Minister of Defense Todor Tagarev even saw the danger of its cancellation due to the leak of information. “Ukraine is at war, and Zelensky is the supreme commander and is of interest to the enemy,” Tagarev said in Novo Selo. He explained that Zelensky is an “extremely valuable guest wherever he decides to go”, and his coming to our country was a “high recognition” for the role of our country in supporting Ukraine.
