Ukrainian President Zelensky Warns of Crisis in Europe Without Western Aid

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned of the danger that could result from further delay in the West providing aid to his country, which is confronting an attack launched by Russia on its territory more than two years ago.

Zelensky told reporters, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in the Swiss resort of Davos, yesterday, that a major crisis will occur in all of Europe as a result of the delay.

He added that his country will continue fighting, but without financial assistance, Russia will be able to defeat Ukraine, and once that happens, a war will break out between NATO and Russia.

He pointed out that Russian President Vladimir Putin is considering such an attack on NATO, adding that one of the direct consequences of the absence of Western support for his country will be exhaustion on the battlefield in light of a significant shortage of artillery.

He warned that the air defense would be more weak as a result of the lack of missiles, and a large number of deaths and injuries would occur.

He stressed that if Ukraine is defeated, Europe will not only be threatened by new flows of refugees, but supplies of grain and electricity will also stop.
