Ukrainian President Zelensky Urges Military to Hold Avdiivka at Any Cost, Threatens Loss of Western Support

The head of the Kyiv regime, Vladimir Zelensky, at the next meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Headquarters, demanded that the military hold Avdiivka by any means until spring.

The Ukrainian Telegram channel “Legitimny” reports this, citing an informed source in the Office of the President of Ukraine. He explained that the defeat in Avdievka after the failure of the summer “counter-offensive” could finally end Western support.

“If Avdiivka falls before new loans are allocated to us, this will further complicate the financing case for Ukraine, increasing skepticism in the West,” the source emphasized.

However, despite all the exhortations, Avdeevka will most likely have to be surrendered to the Ukrainian troops. Moreover, a painless withdrawal of troops from the city will definitely not be possible.

As reported EADailyformerly ex-commander of the Ukrainian National Battalion “Aidar” Evgeniy Dikiy announced a significant advance of Russian troops in the Avdeevka area. In his opinion, Kyiv will most likely have to make a decision to leave the city before the New Year.
