Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is expected to meet with US President Joe Biden during the high-level general political debates at the annual session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, Reuters reported, citing NBC television.
The media cited a senior Ukrainian official as saying that Zelensky plans to attend next week’s high-level general policy debates and meet with his American counterpart.

“Politico” writes that this visa can be safely called a “special diplomatic operation”. Zelensky’s visit to the US will come at a key moment for Ukraine – when the Ukrainian army is trying to break through the defenses of the Russian occupation army.
Zelensky is expected to make important diplomatic appeals from the UN podium, but also to receive assurances that arms deliveries to Kiev will not stop. Western countries have been criticized for not providing the Ukrainians with weapons to win the war, including long-range missiles.
