Ukrainian President Zelensky Makes First Visit to Netherlands to Address Justice and Peace

Journalists inform that he was flying on a government aircraft of the Netherlands.

Sources from the ANP news agency claim that Zelensky is scheduled to meet with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte today.

As you know, this is Zelensky’s first visit to the Netherlands as the head of the Ukrainian state and one of his few trips outside of Ukraine since the start of a full-scale war.

It is expected that the President of Ukraine will deliver a speech in The Hague today entitled “There is no peace without justice”, and will also visit the International Criminal Court in The Hague, which investigates the crimes committed by the Russian Federation during the war against Ukraine.

At the same time, the exact details of the visit of the head of state to the Netherlands are not yet known.

In turn, the Dutch expert on Eastern Europe, Bob Dean, expressed the opinion on Nieuwsuur that the Ukrainian president is likely to “emphasize the importance of justice and redress” in The Hague, as a city of peace and justice, in his speech.

Recall that yesterday the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky was in Finland. He visited Helsinki at the invitation of his Finnish colleague Sauli Niinistjo.
