Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said this during the Munich Security Conference.
“The question is complex, the question of fair mobilizations, and the most important point is the question of rotations. People who are physically tired at the front, Ukrainians, any person, this does not depend on the nation, you are tired, you must recover. You go out, recover, but instead you someone else comes, a professional person who has completed the appropriate period of training. The mobilization system also depends on this system – how many people you have at the front, how many reserves you have,” he said.
He also noted that a certain amount is needed for defense. For a counteroffensive you need to have a different number of brigades. So the issue of mobilization is a complex matter.
Let us remind you that Zelensky signed bills on the extension of martial law and general mobilization. According to the text of the documents, martial law and mobilization have been extended for 90 days, that is, until May 13, 2024.
