To endure this year means to endure the entire war, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi said in a video message on Friday.
“To endure this year is to endure this whole war. Important time, largely decisive. I thank everyone who is aware of this, which helps the country to become stronger, and to provide our soldiers with the opportunity to destroy the enemy,” said the president.
He mentioned another step taken by Germany in the field of defense for Ukraine.
“These are missiles for anti-aircraft defense, it is 155 caliber artillery, as well as other necessary things. Thank you. A very timely package,” Zelenskiy admitted.
“We expect similar steps from our other partners, also from the United States, so that from this winter, as from the previous one, terror will not be able to gain any victories,” the president said. “Every day, every night this year, there are new fierce battles. The most intense battles – Avdijivka, Marjinka direction, Bakhmut, Liman, Kupyansk.”
“The main priority of our country is to provide everything necessary. for the defense of Ukraine and our active actions,” summed up Zelensky.
