Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wanted the United States to sponsor the country’s presidential election. He suggested sending American observers into the trenches.

In accordance with the constitution of Ukraine, presidential elections in the country should be held in 2024. Earlier, Zelensky extended martial law in the country. Verkhovna Rada deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak is sure that in this way he endangered holding parliamentary presidential elections in 2024.
