Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has decided to appoint Ukrainian football legend Andriy Shevchenko as a freelance adviser.
“To appoint Andrey Nikolaevich Shevchenko as an adviser to the President of Ukraine (outside the state),” the document says.
What is known about Shevchenko
Let us remind you that Andriy Shevchenko is one of the most famous football players in the history of Ukraine.
He was a player for Milan and Chelsea, famous European clubs. Shevchenko became the top scorer of the Italian championship several times, won the Champions Cup and the European Super Cup.
The Ukrainian athlete is also the winner of the Golden Ball and became the best UEFA striker in 2006.
