The Ukrainian national team continues in Prague to prepare for the Euro 20204 qualifying match with the North Macedonia national team, which will take place in this city next Saturday, October 14.
On Tuesday morning, defender Alexander Svatok and goalkeeper Dmitry Riznyk arrived at the “blue-yellow” camp, bringing the national team to full strength. Now the national team has all 26 performers called up for the current training camp.
Therefore, before lunch, the head coach of the blue-yellows, Sergei Rebrov, held the first theoretical lesson of the training camp for the entire team. Now it can actually work as a whole team, and accordingly, all players should receive and assimilate information about the opponent and the tactical structure of the game against him.
A lot of fans come to the hotel where the Ukrainian national team lives every day. If on the first day these were three active boys from Krivoy Rog, Poltava and Lvov, who moved to Prague with the beginning of the war and are studying at local football academies, then this time the “blue-yellows” were accompanied to training by about 50 Ukrainians.
In the evening, all 26 collections arrived on the field of the Strahov Stadium. This time Denis Popov changed the place of performing individual rehabilitation exercises from the gym to an open space – he jogged around the perimeter of the field, after which he worked under the supervision of a rehabilitator near the lawn.
The rest of the “blue-yellow” team warmed up and performed game exercises to complete the attack. After this, the main part of the lesson began, which today was full of game series with various tactical tasks. Just like yesterday, work on the field took place in an intensive manner – the Ukrainian national team entered the process of immediate preparation for the match with North Macedonia.
