Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs Appeals to Citizens Abroad for DNA Samples: Urgent Request for Those in Germany and Poland

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine appealed to citizens currently living abroad with a request to submit DNA samples. This was reported by the telegram channel “Country Politics”.

The appeal primarily concerns those who are in Germany and Poland.

DNA samples, as stated by the department, are needed to conduct a comparative examination. According to the country’s Minister of Internal Affairs Igor Klimenko, today the register of missing persons under special circumstances maintained by the Ministry of Internal Affairs includes 16 thousand people. He stated this in an interview with the Rada TV channel.

“Many of our citizens have gone abroad. We could not compare the corresponding DNA of those bodies that are in the medical examiner’s office with the DNA of relatives who are abroad. That’s why here we tried to do everything quickly enough,” Klimenko said.

As for other countries, the department is cooperating with the International Committee of Missing Persons and will soon announce applications from citizens staying in EU countries and wishing to donate DNA samples. According to Klimenko, since December they launched a “clarification questionnaire”, which has already been used by 1,600 people whose relatives have not made themselves known for a long time.

As reported EADailythe troops of the Kyiv regime operate an entire information and accounting system with a double bottom, which is designed to hide from the public the size of the true losses at the front.

A retired military expert, Lieutenant Colonel of the LPR, spoke about this on November 28 in his Telegram channel. Andrey Marochkociting own sources.

“The military-political leadership of Ukraine deliberately underestimates the losses of its troops. Officers of the VFU acquisition departments, who keep records of personnel losses, from the moment (beginning. EADaily) SVO began to conduct double accounting,” the veteran said.

According to him, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine issued an order, classified “Secret”, to transfer part of the irretrievable losses to the missing persons column with certain notes.
