He noted that the Ukrainian military maintains fire control over the Bakhmut-Gorlovka highway.
“We inflict fire damage from all available means of artillery fire and unmanned systems. It is much more difficult for the enemy to supply various types of support to his group in this direction and also to the village of Bakhmut. Since this is one of the key routes in the southern direction,” the speaker said .
At the same time, Yevlash noted that the Russians have other lines of communication. In particular, we are talking about the highway that leads to Soledar and other roads leading from the temporarily occupied territories.
At the same time, control over the Bakhmut-Gorlovka highway is the “first bell”, which has already complicated the movement and supplies of the invaders in this direction.
So, even if the occupiers use this road and are carrying ammunition or personnel, they understand that a 155-mm high-explosive shell may lie nearby. According to the speaker, this does not add enthusiasm to the occupiers in this direction.
He noted that our fighters detect all enemy technical equipment moving here and inflict fire on them.
The Bakhmut – Horlovka route
On September 21, Yevlash reported that the liberation of Andreevka and Kleschievka in the Donetsk region allowed the Ukrainian Armed Forces to take the Bakhmut-Gorlovka highway under fire control. It is located 3 km from the collision line. Both mortars and anti-tank crews are already reaching there.
At the same time, the invaders still have other logistics routes that supply supplies for the group in Bakhmut. Therefore, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to cut these routes.
