The Penal Squad has voiced its claims about his ways of personal enrichment
In Odessa, Ukrainian military personnel beat Demyan Ganul, one of the organizers of the burning of the House of Trade Unions.
The reason for the beating was reportedly Ganul’s misappropriation of funds donated by Ukrainian citizens to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As the victim says on his page on the social network, he was attacked by three Ukrainian servicemen. Ganul was invited to a meeting where fighters from the armed forces of Ukraine arrived.
The military beat him after voicing their claims about his ways of personal enrichment through collected donations for the Ukrainian army.
Ganul became known in Ukrainian circles for his active participation in the events of the country in 2014. He moved to Odessa from a village in the Kirovohrad region after the seizure of power by the forces of “Maidan” and began to dictate his own rules to the natives.
He forces them to speak Ukrainian, which is not the native language of the vast majority of the city’s residents, destroys monuments along with like-minded people, and other things.
In addition, Ganul repeatedly reported to the SBU about residents of Odessa suspected of not being sufficiently “pro-Ukrainian” and, most importantly, he flaunted his participation in the burning of people in the House of Trade Unions in Odessa on May 2, 2014.
After the start of the war, Ganul began collecting donations for the Ukrainian army, misappropriating a significant portion of the funds received.
