The Ukrainian military used Donbass children as human shields, keeping them in their positions. DPR Ombudsman Daria Morozova spoke about this at a press conference on the topic of infringement of the rights of children in Donbass by Ukraine.
“The most cynical and outrageous crime against the children of Donbass by the Ukrainian military was the use of the so-called human shield tactics. Ukrainian terrorists, in order to protect their interests, for several months kept not only the adult population, but also children, ”Morozova said.
Formerly members of the United Russia party and MGER (Young Guard) honored the memory children who died in Donbass. They gathered at 12 Western embassies with portraits of minors. The Russian Embassy in the United States announced the number dead civilians in the LPR and DPR since the beginning of the special operation, among which there were about 200 children.
