Ukrainian Intelligence Uncovers Plans for New Riots in Russia

Ukrainian intelligence has information about plans to organize new riots in Russia.

The failed rebellion of Wagner PMC leader Yevgeny Prigozhin may not be the last attempt to organize a rebellion in Russia. Ukrainian intelligence has information about the preparation of new unrest in the Russian Federation.

This was stated by the speaker of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Andriy Yusov in broadcast telethon.

“Yes. There is data (on the preparation of new rebellions in the Russian Federation – ed.)”– said the intelligence official, but did not go into any details, so as not to simplify the work of the Russian special services.

Commenting on the detention in Russia of one of the former leaders of the “DPR” Igor Girkin (Strelkov), Yusov said that this situation indicates an active confrontation between the Kremlin towers.

According to him, “the jar of spiders continues to move actively”the Ukrainian side, in turn, wishes success to all participants in this process.

An intelligence representative called it a paradoxical situation when Prigozhin went to capture Moscow, and in the end Girkin was detained.

“But such is the peculiarity of the Putin regime”Yusov noted.

The GUR also does not rule out that Prigozhin may yet return “to internal political processes in Russia.”

Recall that on July 21 it became known about the detention of Girkin. He has been charged under an article on extremism, under which he can receive up to 20 years in prison. On the eve of his arrest, Strelkov spoke out with harsh criticism of Putin, calling him “insignificance.”

The denunciation of Strelkov was written by Dmitry Petrovsky, a former deputy from Yaroslavl, who is now a doctor in the Wagner PMC.
