Ukrainian intelligence: Putin has ordered Gerasimov to seize Donbass by March

Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered Valery Gerasimov, the commander of the Ukrainian operation appointed by zero, to seize Donbass by March, Andrii Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Department of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, said on TV channels on Monday.

“However, we can talk about a priority direction for the racists – it is Donbass. There are regular deadlines that he is already setting for Gerasimov, let’s say, as the new leader of the war against Ukraine. (..) This goal is the seizure of Donbass and the creation of a certain security zone there , but already until the month of March,” Yusov said on the TV channel FREEDOM and Channel 24.

“These are not the first deadlines. Each time these deadlines have been postponed. Here, it will soon be a year since the full-scale invasion and a year since they “take Kyiv in three days”. Nothing will happen this time either.”

According to Yusov, the Russian dictator has not abandoned his plans to destroy Ukraine as an independent state and Ukrainians as a nation.

A representative of the intelligence service believes that Putin is preparing Russia for a long war against Ukraine.

Russia has various scenarios and directions for a possible repeat attack, but most of the information on the web is false, Yusov said.

“The enemy prepares various scenarios and often engages in disinformation, among other things, throwing information with various tools about one direction or another in order to disorient us.”

“From very exotic ones like, for example, the landing in Odessa. Because according to the situation at the moment, it looks like a suicidal direction for the enemy. However, we have also seen other suicidal actions,” said the representative of the Central Intelligence Agency.
