Ukrainian e-sportsman Ilya Yatoro Mulyarchuk encountered a problem when trying to change the nickname under which he performs on the professional Dota 2 stage. The Team Spirit carry reported this on Telegram. In the post, he also asked the game developers to help him change his nickname.

Or maybe you can provide me with information on whether I can create a smurf account with an official nickname of my choice? Thank you for your understanding and I hope this message reaches you.

At the time of publication of the material, Mularchuk was assigned the nickname Yatoro雨. With this nickname he won The International 2023, keeping it in the history of the game. Previously, the Ukrainian player used a nickname without a hieroglyph, performing with which he became the champion of The International 10 (2021). Mulyarchuk did not give a reason why he decided to take a different pseudonym.
