Ukrainian Dimid with the song “Kvitka” took fifth place, gaining 128 points

The winner of Junior Eurovision 2023 was 13-year-old representative of France Zoë Closure with the song Cœur, which scored the maximum 228 points.

Nine-year-old Ukrainian Anastasia Dimid with the song “Kvitka” took fifth place, scoring 128 points (45 from the jury and 83 from the audience).
Context:
The 21st Junior Eurovision in 2022 was held in Nice (France). Representatives from 16 countries took part in the competition. Ireland took last place (42 points).
Ukraine has been taking part in Junior Eurovision since 2006, taking first place once – in 2012 (Anastasia Petrik with the song “Sky”), and twice – second place (in 2008 and 2013).
