Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov invited foreign F-16 fighter pilots to join the Ukrainian army, which Ukraine seeks to receive from its allies.
Reznikov said this at a joint briefing with his Danish counterpart on Monday in Odessa, reports “European Truth” with reference to Media Center of Ukraine.
Reznikov offered to foreign specialists who have the desire, the appropriate permits and are able to serve Self-propelled guns and tanks that are transferred by the alliescome to work in Ukraine.
“This also applies to pilots. If there are pilots who know how to fly the F-16 and are ready to take part (in the war. – Ed.), The foreign legion is ready to open the doors,” Reznikov added.
As you know, Ukraine is most eager to receive F-16 fighter jets from its Western allies, since a large number of states use them, and their maintenance will be easier. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg previously did not rule out that the Allies would decide to take such a step.
At the same time, so far Kyiv has received only Soviet aircraft from the allies.
