Last month, Ukrainian defenders destroyed a record 976 Russian artillery systems.
This was reported in the official Telegram channel Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. “In March 2024, the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed 976 Russian artillery systems. This is the highest figure in one month since the start of a full-scale invasion. An impressive result of the work of Ukrainian soldiers,” they noted.
According to the published chart, in January of this year, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed 746 such systems, and in February – 878. The previous record was recorded in September last year, when the Defense Forces destroyed 947 artillery systems.

Yesterday, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the occupying army of the Russian Federation has already lost about 443,660 soldiers.
In total, during this time, more than 11 thousand artillery systems of the Russian Federation, more than 7 thousand tanks and 744 air defense systems were destroyed.
Also earlier, military-political observer Alexander Kovalenko reported another record of the Ukrainian Defense Forces – in March alone they destroyed 1,546 units of Russian vehicles.
