“Although Kirilo is our first foreigner in the last three seasons, the Ukrainians are more like brothers to us now. What has happened is that in one week we have lost both Karli Žundas and Kristians Schultz with serious injuries for a long time, as well as Dāvis Geks used the options of the open contract and went to Iceland. In the last games, we have given the opportunity to the young players, who have also confirmed that they are ready to help, however, the shortage is too big, and the recruitment of Kyrilo, we really hope, will give a little more room for maneuver.” Reuben.
“I am very happy to join the Liepāja team. This is a good team and the city is also beautiful. I have been following the Latvian-Estonian league before, and I believe that this is a great championship. I look forward to trying my hand at this level. See you at the Liepāja Olympic Center!” said Marchenko.
