Ukrainian Commander-in-Chief Appears at Wedding Amid Russian Propaganda Spreading “Death” Rumors

The groom posted a photo from the ceremony and noted that “at the beginning” of his family “is a legendary man.”

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Valery Zaluzhny, appeared at the wedding of a Ukrainian couple at a time when Russian propaganda is spreading fakes about his “death”.

This was announced on the Web by the groom Maxim Alekseev, who married Ekaterina Polishchuk.

So, the newly-made husband published on the social network a photo from the ceremony, where Zaluzhny was present. In his message, Alekseev indicated that he dreamed that such a special moment in his life would be realized by a special person.

“And it happened: Valery Fedorovich agreed. Now at the beginning of our family is a legendary person who is an example for me personally and, I’m sure, for everyone else. And now for our family,” the groom’s message says.

He also thanked the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for agreeing to attend the ceremony and noted that Zaluzhny made “this moment truly incredible.”

Fake news about Zalugny’s “death”

On the eve of the Russian propaganda undertook to distribute fakes on the Web about the “death” of Zaluzhny, the commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky and other military commanders. Information about the liquidation of Ukrainian commanders was denied by Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar.
