Ukrainian Championship ≺03/04/2023≻ Football on SPORT.UA

The teams in the championship have not known the taste of victory for a long time (of course, I mean not only the winter break, but also the last official matches in the fall), so it was to be expected that both would try to win. Veres was considered a small favorite of the match, which played, albeit with almost empty, but still native stands of their stadium.

The hosts actively started the game and pinned the Odessans to their penalty area. In particular, quite a bit was not enough for Dakhnovsky to open an account. However, the Mariners scored first, and rather unexpectedly and unexpectedly. Roman Gagun will have this goal on his conscience – after the central defender of “Chernomorets” Guchek from the bottom of his own penalty area gave a pass across the entire field of Badibanga, the defender of “Veres” had only to take a step forward to intercept the ball. But for some reason he decided to run away from the ball, as a result of which Badibanga played on the opposite side, jumped out on a date with Kogut and shot over him from the penalty line.

“Veres”, as expected, ran to recoup and squeezed Grigorchuk’s team in its half. And such a course of the match suited me – it’s easier to run into counterattacks. Putrea, for example, earned two mustard plasters on himself in counterattacks (and in the second half he himself received in a similar situation, when he had already passed it).

In the end, one counterattack could have been effective – Guchek gave Putra to the right, he shot along the gate, but first Yusov waved past the ball, and Shtogrin did not believe it and did not run to close the far post.

The second half began as if there had never been a break – an attack by Veres, a rebound by Chornomorets. Gaiduchik (roundhouse kick) and Bvdibanga exchanged dangerous moments (Kohut recklessly played with his head outside the penalty area, hit himself behind his back and barely managed to return and cover the ball).

Yuri Wirth freshened up the game with a triple substitution, but the score was equalized by the players who had already been on the field before. After a cross from a free-kick, Nepogodov pulled Kucherov’s header, but was already powerless against finishing off Matkobozhik at point-blank range. 1:1.

I immediately believed that the Rivne team would pull out the victory, as Veres was inspired by success. But Alefirenko covered them with a cold shower – Daniil lay in wait for the ball after an attempted hit from Guchek and shortly after entering the field with a shot from ten meters away, he immediately went through both the defense and the goalkeeper.

Now I believe in Chernomorets. Yusov could have completely closed the game, but miraculously missed the goal after a beautiful attack by the “sailors” and a pass by Demchenko. Grigorchuk immediately removed the striker, releasing an experienced Gladkyy, and Alexander did not let the coach down – he earned a penalty himself, and scored it himself before the final whistle.

1:3 – the fifth defeat of “Veres” in a row, and “Chernomorets” made a good attempt to push off from the bottom of the standings.
