KIEV – Three explosions shook the capital Ukraine , Kiev, Monday (10/17/2022) morning. Presumably it was the result of an attack drone military kamikaze Russia .

A series of violent explosions were heard in the Shevchenkivskiy district around 07:00 local time, including one near a train station.

Writing on social media, Kiev mayor Vitali Klitschko said several residential properties were damaged by the blast and rescue teams were sent.

“Explosion in the Shevchenkiv district in the center of the capital. All services are on site. Details below. The air alert continues. Stay under cover!” wrote Klitschko on Telegram, as quoted The mirror.

The Ukrainian chief of staff, Andriy Yermak, wrote on Telegram: “Russia thinks it will help them, but such actions upset them.”

The Shevchenkivskiy district was also damaged last week by the most intense bombing of the Ukrainian capital since the first days of the war.

Last week, further explosions were heard across Ukraine from Lviv in the west to Dnipro in the east in a revenge attack by Russian President Vladimir Putin following a major attack on the Crimean bridge.

Ukraine has reported a wave of Russian attacks with drone kamikaze Shahed-136 made in Iran in recent weeks.
