The Ukrainian biathlon team performed unsuccessfully in the men’s sprint at the 2024 World Championships in Nove Mesto. The best was Dmitry Pidruchny, who showed the 21st result.
Taras Lesyuk, with 67th result, could not make it into the pursuit race.
Sturla Lægreid, who was 3.5 seconds ahead of the silver medalist, won gold in a bitter struggle with his Norwegian teammate Johannes Boe. Another Norwegian, Vetle Sjåstad Christiansen, took bronze.
