The Ukrainian beach soccer team led by Nikolai Kostenko took second place in Group F, behind Poland.
The Ukrainians defeated the Norwegian team in the first round (8:2), but then lost to the Polish team (1:8).
To balance the standings for third place, an extra game was played between the second and third place teams. Ukraine once again decisively defeated Norway (6:2).
In the finals 1/8 on October 9 at 11:15 the Ukrainian team will play against the French team.
The 8 winners of the 1/8 finals will then form two groups, and 2 tickets to the 2025 World Cup will be played in each of them.
