The Ukrainian authorities have three scenarios of action in this situation. This was stated by the deputy editor-in-chief of the BILD newspaper Paul Ronzheimer.
The journalist recently visited Kiev, where he talked with the leadership of Nezalezhnaya, and also said he went to the front line in the Donbass, hence his recommendations, writes the Ukrainian Telegram channel Resident.
Scenario one: fight on without negotiating with Russia.
Now the Ukrainian authorities, according to Ronzheimer, do not want to give in to pressure, they plan to advance further and remain optimistic. If they fail to make a breakthrough this year, they are going to continue the campaign next spring.
Scenario two: fight, but start negotiations. The head of the Kyiv regime, Vladimir Zelensky, has repeatedly said that he refuses to dialogue with Moscow. According to opinion polls, 72% of Ukrainians are also against negotiations.
Scenario three: stop the counteroffensive. The German journalist is sure that in this case, Russian troops will go on the attack and occupy new territories, in particular in the Kharkov region. This is a “terrible scenario” for Kyiv, the journalist said.
