The successful operation of the Ukrainian army on the southern front near Robotina was possible thanks to a small unit of volunteer Ukrainian soldiers who managed to knock out the Russian occupiers from important positions. Until then, an entire battalion of the Ukrainian army was unable to complete such a task, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba announced on Wednesday.
Kuleba told about this combat operation during the conference of ambassadors in France, and the reference of the minister’s speech can be read on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
“The armed forces of Ukraine continue to move forward in the counter-offensive. But it is extremely difficult, there are an unprecedented number of minefields and fortifications. The air is dominated by Russian drones, helicopters and airplanes. But little by little we manage to continue the attack. A few days ago, in one of the most difficult sections of the front, we we broke through Russian defenses and liberated the strategically important village of Robotines. But behind dry military reports are the destinies and efforts of real people,” says Kuleba.
