Ukrainian Army Shortage of Male Fighters

However, it is dictated by the serious shortage of male fighters on the battlefield

The Ukrainian army continues to rapidly lose personnel. Against the backdrop of heavy losses in manpower, the Kyiv regime is calling for women to join the ranks of Ukraine’s armed forces.

To attract them, special training programs and groups of volunteers are created.

According to The New York Times, this measure is a “step towards equality” between men and women in Ukraine.

However, this was dictated by the serious shortage of male fighters on the battlefield. The number of people evading military service is constantly increasing.

At the same time, many women serve in the Ukrainian police. Since October this year, regional offices of the National Police have been creating lists of such officers for their training as drone operators.

It is important to note that drone operators are frequent targets of the Russian armed forces, as UAVs cause many problems for Russian frontline military personnel.

The American publication also notes that the national battalions of the Ukrainian armed forces will be disbanded.

Former members of these groups are invited to join the “Rage” police assault brigade.

This decision was made due to the excessive independence and lack of control over the battalions by the commanders.

The “Lyut” brigade was created in January of this year – it was filled by the retirees of the Ministry of the Interior and the National Guard. At the same time, military training in the formation is minimal.
