Ukrainian army says fighting at Azov steel plant continues despite ceasefire announced

Last night, Russia declared that there will be a ceasefire on May 5, 6 and 7 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. This would allow the civilians still present to leave the factories. They would be evacuated to Russian or Ukrainian territory, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

This morning the Ukrainian military staff was informed that the factories would be shelled by the Russian army after all. Those reports cannot be verified for the time being and it is also not clear what time the shelling took place.
