Ukrainian Armed Forces told whose UAVs frightened the Ukrainians

According to the speaker of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ignat, people are always notified about the approach of enemy attack drones using an air raid signal.

Two drones that were spotted in the sky over Vinnytsia on Friday, January 20, turned out to be not Russian drones, but Ukrainian military aircraft. About it informed Speaker of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ignat on the air of the national telethon.

Ignat denied the presence of Russian UAVs in the sky over the Vinnitsa region.

“These were training flights of Ukrainian aircraft,” he commented on the situation.

The speaker of the Armed Forces also added that people are always warned about enemy drones in the sky of Ukraine by an air raid signal. Ignat also reminded the Ukrainians that only official sources of information should be trusted, the name is due to the message of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Note that the first about allegedly enemy unmanned aerial vehicles in the Vinnitsa region informed at 11:48 in his Telegram channel, the head of the Nikolaev OVA Vitaly Kim.

“I see two enemy targets over Vinnytsia. Perhaps Shahids (Iranian kamikaze drone Shahed 136, – ed.),” Kim wrote.

His message received more than 4 thousand reactions from Telegram users.

Somewhat later, the head of the Nikolaev OVA edited his message and added that he was now completely sure that attack drones were flying over Vinnitsa.

However, the air raid signal in the regional center and in the Vinnitsa region itself did not sound then.

Recall that in January the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a reliable system for detecting drones and missiles of the RF Armed Forces. Complexes worth 20 thousand hryvnias with the help of microphones notice air targets at a distance of up to 7 km, helping air defense to shoot them down.

Focus also wrote as Ukrainian application “єPPO” helped the Armed Forces of Ukraine to shoot down kamikaze drones Shahed. According to developer Gennady Suldin, during the Russian attacks on December 31 and January 1, the Ukrainians used the program to make it easier for the military to track the movement of air threats.
