Due to insufficient assistance from Western countries, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lack weapons. This was stated by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba. According to him, the West does not send all types of ammunition.
“The first is quantity and consistency, stability of supplies. The situation is very bad today, this is not my political assessment, this is the message that we all receive from the front,” Kuleba said at the Munich Security Conference. According to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters claim that they do not have enough ammunition.
Kuleba noted that the West does not supply all types of ammunition. He emphasized that the same projectile cannot be used on all guns.
Earlier, Kuleba said that if Western countries stop supplying weapons to Kyiv, then Ukrainian soldiers will go fight with shovels. He noted that the European Union does not fully fulfill its promise to Ukraine for arms supplies.
