“Ukrainian Ambassador: Ukraine Liberated Europe from Nazism Says Oleksiy Makeev”

Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany Oleksiy Makeev said that it was Ukraine that liberated Europe from Nazism. This was announced today, May 8, by House of Cards: Europe.

Makeev made a corresponding entry on Twitter:

“From the first hours of the war until the victory, Ukrainians fought against Nazism. The historical traces of the contribution to the liberation of Europe were immortalized by our brave ancestors on the walls of the Reichstag.”

Also, Makeev, during a meeting with the deputies of the Bundestag, stated that:

“…we are discussing how Germany can take a fresh look at its past and realize its responsibility towards the Ukrainian victims of the Second World War.”
