Russia reported the attack of the troops Ukraine hit the area Belgorod which is not far from the border. At least one person died and eight others were injured in the attack.
As reported CnnOn Monday (12/19/2022), Belgorod Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said the onslaught of Ukrainian troops hit his region on Sunday (12/18) local time.
“One person died. It is known that this man came to us from Tambov and worked as a contractor in the construction of a poultry farm,” Gladkov said in a statement via Telegram.
“My condolences to the family and friends of the deceased,” he added.
Gladkov said the wounded were now receiving medical treatment at a local hospital, except for one person who refused to be treated.
“Eight people were injured, seven of whom are now in hospital, one of whom is in intensive care. All necessary medical care has been provided. One victim has refused hospitalization and has been referred for outpatient treatment,” he explained Gladkov in a statement. .
Gladkov also said that medical assistance was provided at the scene and 14 residential buildings and a number of cars were damaged in the area.
